Algorithms: Find the Winner

Given a list of scores, how does a computer find the biggest? It checks them one at a time and remembers the best so far. That's an algorithm.

1. 1The racers

   Make an array of racer objects with scores.

   let racers = [
     { name: "horse", score: 40 },
     { name: "zebra", score: 90 },
     { name: "deer", score: 70 }
   ]

2. 2Track the best

   Start with the first racer as the best so far.

3. 3Compare each one

   Loop through and replace best whenever you find a higher score.

4. 4Crown the winner

   Create the winner and celebrate.
