Arrays: A List of Animals

One variable holds one value. An array holds a whole list — perfect for a parade of animals you can march through with a loop.

let animals = ["lion", "zebra", "elephant"]

1. 1Make the list

   Create an array with three animal names.

   let animals = ["lion", "zebra", "elephant"]

2. 2Create them all

   Loop over the array and create each animal.

3. 3March them

   Inside the same loop, move each one forward.

4. 4Add a fourth

   Add "giraffe" to the array — no other lines need to change.
